Yes, we were on the way to having the first podcasts posted. We were excited and hopeful. Six were — are, ready to go. And then? We listened to them…and we didn’t like them. Well, not all of them at least. Some of them are good, but the first few most definitely aren’t. Thes audio basically sucks. Our attitudes aren’t the best. The editing isn’t great.
So, now what? Well, that’s a great question, thank you for asking. We’re going to put the first few Cerebral Goo episodes in the vault, to be retrieved after we’ve got an average weekly listener base of over a million. Then, we’ll open the vault, take out the first episodes and…burn them. Of course, we’d be burning comedy gold, so maybe we’ll wait on that thought.
We’ve recorded 15 Cerebral Goo podcast episodes as of today. Of those, seven need to be edited and reviewed. Time has been short recently, and I am working hard to get the first six posted ASAP. Once that happens, the rest *should* flow on the weekly basis that we intended.
Lastly, I think part of my hesitation of getting this done has been the fact that during the pandemic, everybody and their mother started a podcast. I was shaken. How the hell did everybody have the same great idea I had? Worse part is that some of them are pretty good. But, they’re not Cerebral Goo. They don’t touch on the hard-hitting topics and semi-backed up opinions that we do. And, most importantly. they don’t have us; Salty and Moose, the greatest sibling duo since, well, us.
Thank all of you who’ve helped us get this far. The meat will be up soon. Hrm. That didn’t come out right. What I mean to say is that the first podcasts will be up and live ASAP.
